Accessing Your Higher Self
Have you ever heard of someone talking about making decisions from their higher self? Have you ever wondered what that meant? Your higher self is the awakened or knowing part of you. It is not a separate entity and can already be found within you. It is through your higher self that you can find the hidden knowledge that you already possess. Deep truths can be found from within. When living in alignment with our higher self, we can find our true strengths, learn how to use them, overcome the challenges that we face in life, and live our lives through authenticity. But how can you access your higher self?
Give space to the more vulnerable, hurting, and protective parts of you with a therapist. When these parts are nurtured and validated, it creates space for your higher self to come forward.
Meditation to quiet and still the mind. This allows us to go inward and expand.
Live in alignment with your values and purpose
Strengthen your intuition
Spend time in nature, away from the busyness of day to day life
Cultivate loving thoughts and language towards yourself. If this is difficult to do, lean towards compassion
Engage in self-reflection
When we give space to allow our higher self to come forward, it can really begin communicating with us. We can begin to make decisions that are in alignment with who we are at the core. The journey from within can truly be rewarding and help us lived a more fulfilled life.
